It’s been an interesting and fun week with lots of arrivals and had some outings which have been rather interesting… I would have loved to have taken a lot more photos which were more meaningful and representative of the somewhat awesome week I/we have had.
Hrmmm… again… some reasonably unpredictable weather… Another shot of Darling Harbour. I’d love to come out here with my DSLR and a tripod and take some night-shots with all the pretty lights and the water and stuff…
We had a Physics excursion to see “Hubble 3D” at IMAX, as well as a trip to Sydney’s “Powerhouse Museum”, which frankly, I never find all that interesting… Except for this awesome rubik cube.
After the excursion, I payed a trip to the new Westfield on Pitt Street, which opened last Thursday. It is incredibly shiny and pretty (especially the food court) and I hope to take photos a many next time I’m there with my DSLR. (Which is probably early December)
And went down to Chinatown to eat some japanese pancakes (“Hontou Pancakes”) and takoyaki. XD
Mangoes are back in season. Had my first one today. XD
Also had a wonderful and interesting trip to IKEA today with Leon and his ‘rents. LOADS of people… Especially with their “eat your discount” policy, where you can get a refund on all the food you eat when you make purchases at the checkout. Apparently, Leon saw one person order something around $200 worth of food… Insane…
But yeah, saw a few interesting things here and there… I need better lighting in my room, and found some solutions there, but I didn’t end up buying anything because the lines at the checkouts were too long, the products I was looking for were hard to find, and time was running short, as Leon and I wanted to see The Social Network later that afternoon.
Good movie… Mark Zuckerburg is a b****.

The CX-300 IIs are real. Unlike the 400s I ordered last time. It’s kind of a shame that only some of this is actually mine…
But anyway, I got a dock for my Zune, and so I’m happy.
I’ve got a lot of school work to do tomorrow… So I’ll have fun…
