November was an unusually dry month… and by dry, I mean, lacking interesting content rather than unseasonal… In fact, we’ve actually had quite a bit of rain… But yeah, so this goanna water dragon payed a visit to our school earlier in November…

As always, a tradition brought upon by some of my friends, a mud cake from either Coles or Woolworths, decorated with M&Ms. In this cake, it was Faith’s birthday, with the cake decorated with a Totoro.

My sister’s birthday was mid-November, so we went out to a local cafe/grill that serves some pretty good food. This was her whitlof, betroot, apple and scallop salad.

I ordered… What was it… A double braised duck leg? On a bed of peas with caramalised onion.

For dessert: This was a pretty epic Berry Trifle. The cream on the top layer must have been a lot of fat because it was soooooooooo good!

And… Food Tech… Some not so good food…

Some would say it looked pretty good, but in all honesty, it tasted really bad… Due to everyone’s time constraints, this “Strawberry and Rhubarb Tart” failed to be anything other than a mess, and horrid to eat…

Moar Food Tech! I had an excursion for Food Tech to see the kitchens and operations of Centrepoint Tower’s (or Sydney Tower) restaurants and venues, situated on the new Westfield in Pitt/Market Streets in the city. I’ve been there for the buffet twice before… The first time, it was pretty awesome, the second time, we were really dissapointed… So this was my third time.

It was forecast to rain that day…

Sydney Tower is the highest point in Sydney, standing at around 300m above the ground.
Sydney has a weird building height limit of 270m I think… I always wondered why, until one of my friends asked me if it was because of the close proximity to the Airport. That would make sense right…?

Lots of Alcohols.

Hmmm… I remember there being a much wider selection of food in the buffet…

Though, not to say that there wasn’t enough food, or that it wasn’t good.

Desserts are all that matter anyway right?

Inside the new Westfield… It’s incredibly shiny, and decorated with a lot more shiny things. Too me, I find it a little overwhelming, even though I’ve been to big modern department stores before in Shanghai and Beijing. I feel that Westfield went too far this time… I just… Don’t feel comfortable shopping here…

I find it easy to lose your sense of direction in here…

I haven’t had a Japanese Crepe in AGES. Years ago, there were a few stores in Sydney called “Japancrepe”if memory serves correct, and they sold those yummy delicious fruit/cream/ice-cream/other sweet stuff filled crepes in the shape of a cone. They closed down years ago too due to lack of interest at the time, as well as not being the cheapest of foods. So in World Square, I finally found a new japanese style crepe store! “Mazazu Crepe” or “Mother’s Crepe”. I got me a “Caramel Strawberry Cheesecake” Ice cream crepe. =D

Myabe it was overly-high expectations, but… I remember them to be a lot yummier from Japan Crepe… Though, that was years ago.

Procrastinating Maths… i’d thought I’d take a few photos of my Fate Nendoroid, since I haven’t done so since openning her back in March, and not actually taking her out till… Recent…
(Yeah, I played around with some exposure and contrast effects…)
