DROID

Or… “Milestone”… Outside of the US…

But “DROID” is so much cooler…

Unfortunately, not my Milestone, but my sisters…

It has been out for about nine months now over in the US, and a tiny bit less than that in Europe.

And it only just arrived here in Australia… (God… Why are we so slow with technology?!?!)

So, if you couldn’t tell, I decided to so a quick photoshoot of my sister’s new DROID… I mean… Milestone…

My sister is/I am still yet to play around with it properly, but the Milestone feels, and looks AWESOME.

It’s a little chunky, but certainly has a nice weight to it.

It is still the thinnest Qwerty slider smartphone out on the market I believe.

Just a quick comparison with the only other Android running device in our possessions, my Archos 5… Which I’m actually trying to get rid of now… =P

The Milestone’s Android is nice, and the Motorola MotoBlur skin is nice.

It’s bigger than I actually thought. (especially with the keyboard slid out) Not that much smaller than my Archos…

It’s definitely a nice phone! And, had it come out in Australia nine months ago, I might have gotten it… But for me, it’s not really an option for me, as it does not meet my “perfect phone” criteria… As well as the fact that… “it’s getting out of date”.

In case you were curious, it is available now with Optus here in Australia… I don’t think it will be moving to any other carrier…
