Nanoha and Fate Figma Mini-Photoshoot

So, after finally opening my Fate figma about a week ago, I’ve finally gotten around to doing a photoshoot for both my Fate and Nanoha figma’s by MAX Factory. I can’t say the results for this photoshoot were as awesome as the photos I had for Bevan’s ALTER Nanoha near a month ago. Some of the images, as you will see, are rather noisy, and for some reason, my three lamps didn’t want to play very nice with lighting all the time…

All these shots are indoor, and with my makeshift “lightbox”. I’d like to see if I can get them outside sometime in the future, and see if I can get any “epic” shots of the two.

We’re staring off with Nanoha, and her holding Raising Heart in Shooter Mode.

As this was my first experience with figma’s, I found them rather fiddly, and somewhat annoying, trying to switch weapons, changing facial expressions etc. Getting her to hold the Divine Shooter itself is a bit of a chore.

I found it rather difficult to get Nanoha in the right angle, as well as not trying to make her fall over from knocking her over with the camera.

The paint job, seems a little dodgy, but that can’t be helped that much…

I couldn’t bother changing weapons and facial expressions all that much, so that’s all I’ll be doing for Nanoha.

And now it’s Fate’s turn.

Fate in Invisible Mode! (Except for the cloak…)

Yeah, so, like Nanoha, I found Fate rather fiddly as well, especially when I was trying to make the coat stay on Fate’s back, and on the stand.

Fate’s cloak probably could have gotten on her better, but I was afraid I’d break some part of her/the cloak… (Mildly Paranoid after an incident with my Nanoha Nendoroid)

So, as a result, much of Fate’s photos are without her cloak.

Then I thought it was nice to get Fate and Nanoha together, and point their weapons on my camera…

I want to try, when I’m in China later later in May, or when I’m in the City at night sometime, to try getting Nanoha and Fate in a battle sort of set on the top floor of a building or something, with the lights of city buildings in the background… But for the moment, below, is the best I could do with what I had to at least try and create a battle-ish style seen without editing a background or anything.

So, that concludes my Mini-Photoshoot, and my first experience with figma’s. I was lucky enough to place an order for a Fate Nendoroid this late from AmiAmi, and so I can expect to see that arrive within the coming weeks, and once I have her, I might try doing a fun little photoshoot with my Nanoha Nendoroid.
