Ahhh… School’s over and yet it isn’t… With school technically finished, all that’s left is our HSC and and then it is a few months of freedom!!! (with one month of worrying about our results…) But in that intermediary between graduation and studying for my HSC, there’s room for a little fun, and so we decided to celebrate a bit with a little trip to Ribs and Rumps at Macquarie Park, among other places, and I’ve spent some time experimenting with some photography and with a new Digital Audio Converter one of my friends bought.

Over the last three years or there abouts, I’ve been purchasing a new portable media player pretty much every six months, some as upgrades, and some just for convenience. My very first mp3 was a Creative ZEN, and I grew to love it, (even though it broke twice). I then churned through a Creative ZEN Stone (which I lost), a Samsung S2 (Or the “Pebble”, which I eventually sold off), a Creative ZEN X-fi, a Creative ZEN Stone Plus w/Speaker (which I also have lost), and have finally calmed down with a Cowon iAudio E2, and a 32gb Microsoft Zune HD.

My friend Geoff recently ordered himself a pair of Alessandro Music Series One (MS-1i) Headphones (the additional “i” extension refers to the revised 2009 version of the original MS-1 headphones) through me (taking advantage of the falling US Dollar), and they arrived at my place two days ago. I managed to open them, take a few photos, and do a bit of testing. I do like my high-quality audio, but I’m far from an audiophile, having relatively little experience with high-end equipment.

As always, late on the bandwagon, but, I am now one of the hundred or so people who probably have a Zune in Australia!

Hrmmm… A good few days of City trips, Desk cleanings and maths… Pretty much all I’m doing these holidays…

It has been a rather slow week, generally uneventful in terms of the outside world. School, work… There’s been a lot going on in regards to politics here… But in terms of things that effect me directly, four maths tests spread over today, and the next few days. Should be fun.
I also received a to boxes from places I usually buy from. So more money down the drain…
I’m also trying to deal with a slightly shady Nigerian Buyer on eBay… O_o

So, an interesting breakfast, made up of whatever some tarts that my sister and I had bought yesterday in Surry Hills. A Strawberry and Vanilla tart, Chocolate and raspberry, Ginger Brulee and a simple lemon tart. And a slice of Coles Pecan Danish… Healthy…
Then after work, I set up the Gigaworks T3s I had bought the yesterday as well. They don’t seem to sound as awesome as I had heard them when the store I bought them from had them on display. Hence: Am currently trying to burn them in by playing varying Original Soundtracks. (both movie and anime)
So, after work, and filling/handing in a few forms, my sister and I payed a trip to the City, and she showed me a bit around Surry Hills, which I can;t help but find weird… She took me to two bakeries/cafes, but main thing for me on the agenda, was what you see above.
Hope to get them set up in the coming day or two.
