Haven’t been able to blog all that much, being very busy with school work, namely an English essay, and a lot of maths being dumped on me by my most favourite maths teacher. =D
I have a few posts in the line, but when they’ll be published is well… When I’m able to get around to them…
Yay! My local Japanese book store had Mizuki Nana’s biography “Shin Ai” in stock. 20% off too, so it only cost me $28. It’s a shame that I’m Japanese illiterate. Otherwise, I’d probably be up all night reading it… But I am watching coverage of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan ealier today… That’s some scary stuff.
At this moment, 5 hours after the quake, the toll is only 39. That number can only rise.
Hope everything works out for all those effected directly and indirectly.

Busy busy busy weeks… The last few days of January was a busy time for me, and the start of school marking the beginning of what is going to be an incredibly busy and stressful year.

To think it’s the end of the year already… School’s out for 6 weeks, which you’d imagine to be plenty of time to get side projects that are otherwise interrupted by school completed but… not really…
Anyway, so just a quick post about my “Operation Clean-up” for the end of 2010 in preparation for 2011. There are a few other clean-up operations I need to do, which include clearing-up my limited hard-drive space, and getting much of this website cleaned up… But that’ll be done later. =P

November was an unusually dry month… and by dry, I mean, lacking interesting content rather than unseasonal… In fact, we’ve actually had quite a bit of rain… But yeah, so this goanna water dragon payed a visit to our school earlier in November…

Unfortunately, there really hasn’t been anything eventful ever since the end of the Holidays. I have been loaded with a lot of maths homework, and it has been rather annoying. I feel incredibly envious of those who have just completed their HSC… Can’t wait for mine to be over!

Phew… New term at school, incredibly busy, lots of work being done, organisation and catch-up. Despite getting a lowly 34% for my Prelim Exam for 3 Unit Maths, I’m having a go at doing 4 Units of Maths for my HSC… Which should be interesting… First lesson was simple enough, learning about “Complex Numbers” and “Iota” which, frankly, are magical concepts to me… Why didn’t they just teach us this back when we were in primary school? We were so much more gullible back then, we would have stuck with the idea and 4 unit maths would probably be so much easier than what it’s made out to be at the moment. XD
The results of my other tests weren’t very good for my standards… Generally hovering around the course average for all my subjects, which is somewhat worrying if I want to get an ATAR of 96 to get into Architecture in Uni…
Considering joining the Formal Committee after being nagged by the current members, (though particularly Shannon and Janice…) Am in talks with Leon about whether we want to join/plan to strike some form of deal. However, Leon and I have written ourselves down for the Yearbook Committee, which should be interesting…

Should be receiving confirmation e-mail for a ‘ready order’ for my Nanoha and Angel Beats Nendoroids as Leon’s release has been delayed to late December… O_o
Been watching “Bakuman” and “” as part of the Fall season of Anime. Both have been great so far and I’m loving all the references to ‘real anime and otakudom’ in “My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute”. I won’t be posting too much about them unless something incredibly notable comes up. Though my good friend Leon is keeping up with them and regularly posting his thoughts of some of the other anime that’s being shown this season on his blog.

Windows Phone 7 has officially been launched and I am SO EXCITED!!! The land down under will be one of the first to officially get WP7 on October 21 with the release of the HTC Mozart, HTC Trophy, and the Samsung Omnia 7, being released on Telstra, Vodafone and Optus respectively.
Though, I’m super-eager to get my hands on a Dell Venue Pro, originally known as “Lightning” back when Engadget leaked the details in April. Sadly, there’s no official release date for it anywhere at the moment, and the only carrier details are that it’ll be on T-Mobile in America.
My Shure SE420 Earphones (that I got in exchange for a continually breaking pair of Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Extended Bass Earphones) have been sent in to get a frequency response check after the lack of bass in them finally led me to ask if there was a possible fault with my earphones… Will see how that goes.
Geoff ordered a pair of Alessandro MS-1 Headphones through me (taking advantage of the falling US Dollar), and they arrived yesterday. I managed to give them a test run and take a few photos of them before he came by to take them away, and I was rather impressed with how they sounded out of the box. I’ll do a more formal write up a little later.
I’m somewhat depressed… The holidays are almost over, and come Monday, I should probably get down to do some serious business… In terms of study… But I won’t whinge about that now… This post is about reminiscing the Spring Holidays of 2010 in photo form, which has been jam-packed with social outings and stuff. One of the best holidays ever. =D

Phew! Busy busy busy the last few days/weeks… With all my/our exams all over, it’s been a busy week of celebrating-ish and taking advantage of our time off school while everyone else still had to be at school. Visited Nick’s for some jamming, and and an interesting ‘cheesecake’, saw “Avatar: The Last Airbender” for Ethan’s Birthday, had my first attempt at some hard-core DDR, and killed everyone with my legendary singing skills after a city trip once everyone had finished exams…
Unfortunately, I had planned on hosting a sort of Anime Marathon tomorrow, but have had to cancel it due to a series of technical issues as we are surprisingly not very well technically equipped… As well as not being able to go to a friend’s birthday event last night as they didn’t want me hanging out so late… So, that’s not very good. However, there are some good plans for Ben’s birthday which I should be able to go to, as well as a movie marathon and some ice skating, on the agenda this holidays.
There’s also a lot of domestic work for me to do, with a lot of room organisation necessary to optimise space, as well as get rid of the increasing amount of dust. I should probably do some catch-up on some schoolwork that I’m far from confident in, combined with a good amount of anime of course…
Though seriously, don’t let me sing… Karaoke isn’t a very good idea when you’re with me. =P
I should be having some actual content in some blog posts to come. Yay!
*sigh* Lots of exams, cramming, study the past two weeks… As well as much to organise, and Animania happened to be scheduled right in the middle of it all… It’s been a busy start to Spring…

So, it was recently my good friend Leon‘s Birthday, and so today Leon, Shannon, Nick and I went down to Darling Harbour to go eat some foods from a place we normally wouldn’t eat at ‘cos we’re poor and stuff… =D
