I’m somewhat depressed… The holidays are almost over, and come Monday, I should probably get down to do some serious business… In terms of study… But I won’t whinge about that now… This post is about reminiscing the Spring Holidays of 2010 in photo form, which has been jam-packed with social outings and stuff. One of the best holidays ever. =D

Okay, so this time, it was time to celebrate my birthday!
Shannon gave me this little Dinosaur plush. I decided that it’d be a she, and her name is Misuzu, named after the main character from the anime “Air”, where she believes that dinosaurs made the noise “gao*

Okay, so before I watch the newest episode of Chaos;Head, I feel like I need to outline what I’m going to do these holidays. And also to see how much of this I actually turn out doing…
Okay, so first of all, I will probably be spending some of my holidays working… I need the money! So, that should be fun, and as a result of this, I will probably be spending a lot of it on useless junk/crap. So. Depending which days I am free/I’m not working/going to see relatives/friends of my parents, and also depending if my friends feel like going out/have money, I’d probably be going round to the city, and/or visiting some of my friend’s houses every now and then. This shall be fun, as since my friends don’t exactly have that much money, I probably won’t be going out as often as I want to. However, on my next trip into the city, I have decided, despite how much I’m going to regret it, I am going to buy that “Higurashi no naku koro ni Character Illustration Book” for that expensive price of $46.16. And the way Fate probably has planned, it’s going to be sold out once I get the opportunity to buy it. 😛 What seems certain so far, is a “reunion” of some of my friends from my primary school. We do these every-so-often, and it seems as though this will happen on the 29th of December. Fun fun!
Travel plans? Probably not… As much as I want to go to Japan, it probably won’t happen this holidays. My parents have kind of been suggesting if I want to go this holidays, I can, however, I feel as though it’d be too short notice to my relatives in Tokyo, to say “Hey, I’m heading off to Tokyo right now and I need a place to stay, so can you pick me up at say 4:30 in the morning at Tokyo Narita Airport and prepare a room for me? Thanks!” So, Japan, this Summer (well, winter over there), probably not. My parents have been suggesting to take a trip down to Melbourne or something sometime this holidays, although plans for that have so far just been talk… New Years Eve? May be heading down to Sydney Harbour to see the Fireworks display and all that but again, that’s just all talk right now…
Okay, so, as a result of all that, I’m probably going to spend most of my time at home. Which means, I may need a few things to keep my occupied. For starters, I will try and regularly update my blog, and visit my Facebook account most of the holidays. Television shows? It being the summer, there aren’t exactly many “good” TV shows around anymore. So, I’ll probably be spending a lot of my “watching” time, watching anime. So, after this blog post, I know that I’ll be watching episode 10 of Chaos;Head. Chaos;Head, along with Vampire Knight Guilty are currently being aired, and each only has about 2 more episodes to go, so they’ll be finished very soon. I will also be finishing off Moyashimon, and resume watching Soul Eater. On my watchlist these holidays are Trinity Blood (because I have to return it sometime before new year), Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Elfen Lied and xxxHolic. These all depend on how lazy I get and/or plans when it comes to outings these holidays.
Projects? Am I doing any thing academic or some form of productiveness these holidays? I’m sure they’ll be some. I brought my drawing board home from Graphics Tech to try and finish off my drawing of the Airbus A380 which is due week three of next year. Since I’m moving up maths classes, I will probably be doing a little catch up so that I am relatively on the same pace as they are. Ummm… Website wise… Hmmm… Probably will be scrapping that, and I’ll be leaving The Corny Paper to rot for a little while as I become too lazy to update it… I haven’t exactly posted much, or anything for that matter on deviantART. It’ll probably stay that way unless I somehow get inspired to do some drawings or something…
So what WILL I be doing this summer? Working, Blogging, Anime watching, blowing our monthly download allowance, Spending money, and probably be being bored…
What MIGHT I be doing? Going out to places with friends, doing some technical drawing, Tidying up my room, traveling to places further than 200km…
What WON’T I be doing? Not spending money, Lending money to Sam 😛 …

Well, as most of you should know, World Youth Day is being held in Sydney this week, and it “should attract more international visitors than the Olympics”, which I highly doubt, although there are a lot of people in Sydney. Catching public transport to the city gets rather noisy, and pretty much anytime we stop at a station, WYD visitors cheer at the fellow WYD visitors. I myself am not a Catholic but today, I went to see the events being held, but more on that later. I first plan to tell you how my holidays have been.
Well, I have been doing an awful lot of walking the past few days and I am kinda tired but I still feel like going out tomorrow or something… On Tuesday, I went to the city, to head over to the tax office there… Me being stupid and unaware of obvious things (like the address given on the website but instead I trusted my dad…) meant that we did a lot of walking up and down the city that day. Believing it was at Market Street, being told it had moved to Goulburn Street at World Square, then re-directed back up, past Market Street again to go to Lang Street, near The Rocks. With it being WYD, it was rather crowded and so made the walk a little more difficult. I’ve finally tried Takoyaki! (Takoyaki is a traditional(?) little side dish that’s basically flour, spices and octopus but it has a whole lot more as well I think. It’s basically a Fried Octopus Ball… Featured in quite a few animes…) Bought some yesterday from a Japanese Resturant, 8 for $6.50 which i don’t think is that bad… They are actually pretty good, they aren’t that salty, but they aren’t dull either. It’s a fairly nice balance and I wouldn’t mind buying some more…
That brings me to today. To start off, I spent about from 10am to 3pm bushwalking with Toby and Hursh. Quite tiring and a part of the walking track that we planned to walk didn’t seem to exist somewhere through it, so we had to take a detour. This led us to a place a fair way away from our original designated destination so we caught a bus to the nearest train station. Toby went home and so Hursh and I decided to go to the city, and see what kind of events were happening in the city. So once we got of the train, we planned to go to “Barrangaroo” via George Street. We reached the corner of George Street and Bridge Street at 4:30pm where there were a lot of people waiting to see the Popemobile.
The crowd down Bridge Street from George Street
So we decided to join the crowd and wait for Pope Benedick XVI to drive past in the Popemobile. Waiting, watching other people try to squeeze in, random person from inside the hotel behind us shouting “Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!” and watching the pretty little helicopters fly above us filming the event. It wasn’t till about 5pm when the the Popemobile started moving. It was traveling down George Street at about 5:10pm when it drove past us. Maybe it was the South Koreans, (not being racist) or a some sort of message that he drove really quickly past us, so we barely got a glimpse of him, and that my camera was not responding to me trying to take a photo… So he drove down Bridge Street and he seemed to be going quite a bit slower now and my camera decided to start taking photos again so I tried to take an image of at least the popemobile… Here is the blurry little photo:
The popemobile down Bridge Street and a zoom in of who I believe was the Pope.
Hehe, yeah that was fun… After he drove past, there was a McDonalds behind us and there was a TV there, so we thought that we may as well take a look to see where he was at. The drive through the CBD must have been rather quick because by the time we got to see the TV (which was barely a few minutes), he was already driving past the Opera House and through the Botanical Gardens! Wonder if he was following the speed limit. Oh well, that was basically today, and that bush walking took quite a bit out of me so I’ll probably wake up with sore legs but anyway. Oyasuminasai!

Oooohhhhh Dear… Well, here’s the story. Today, I went to the “Aroma Festival”, held at The Rocks, in Sydney. I went because there was coffee, chocolate, tea, spices, and other yummy stuffs… Coffee’s were only $1 and I knew that they’d be a lot of free sample stuffs as well… Anyway, I had two coffees (A Cappuccino and a Latte, and I must say, they weren’t that great… Quite weak actually), A slice of Cookies and Cream Rocky Road (Which kinda killed me because I have a kinda low sweetness tolerance) and a whole load of various free samples… There were some “poffertjes” (Dutch Pancakes) that looked really good but I didn’t buy any. I didn’t buy any was because it cost $7 for around 10 of these tiny pancakey things with syrup/sauce, and extra $1 for Strawberries, and another extra $1 for cream, which (if you can’t do maths) means it would cost $9! And they looked so good too!
The $9 “poffertjes” which a kind lady allowed me to take a picture of. =D
Anyway, so after that, Hursh and I decided to go see “Get Smart”. It started at about 2pm and so we didn’t come out of the cinema until about 4pm. Well, I hadn’t had lunch yet and so I decided to go search around for some foodstuffs. Well, Hursh bought a Strawberry Tart thing and me, being me, couldn’t decide about what to get… So time went by, and so I thought about sushi or something. So I decided to take a look at a sushi shop. With it being a Sunday, and at this time it was about 4:45pm, the Sushi shop was closed. *sigh* Along with pretty much everything else. *sigh* Except for McDonald’s… *sighs some more…* So I bought a “McAfrica Burger”, “Fries”, and a drink and it cost me BLOODY $7.45 FOR THAT CRAP! Look I took a picture!
Oh yes, I actually ate it! *runs to corner to cry*
*sigh* Well, there you have it! My great outing today hoping to eat some yummy REAL FOOD, and eating some good quality foods, then finishing up with McDonald’s… What have I done?…
