Okay, so my blog is now kinda my website, with my profiles on many internet based life like this as my “homepage/website”. Although, what I mean by my title is that my blog is becoming as frequently updated as The Corny Paper was. Speaking of which, the upgrade of that site isn’t exactly moving very fast. (Or at all for that matter!) Hehe, I don’t expect many blog posts this month as I become more lazy as was explained in my “About my Blog” part of this blog… *sigh* What shall I write about today? There isn’t really much to say. Sam stole some of my money again on Saturday, which, you could say, was kinda expected but meh. (He didn’t actually “steal” it, he just borrowed quite a bit off me again)
Okay, I should buy that/those Japanese Dictionary/ies that I’ve been meaning to buy. I bought me a very good condition second hand manga chaper three of “Higurashi no naku koro ni – Tsumihoroboshi-hen” in Japanese and I can barely understand it… I also took a look at Kinokuniya to look for the “Higurashi no naku koro ni Character Illustration Book” and to see if they have any of the recently released translated chapters. No translated chapters in stock however I did find the Illustration Book. It’s a nice bulk of color pages. It is wrapped in plastic so you can’t take a look into it. Some have been leaked out onto the internet, and so I know that there is a large amount of fanservice to the book whcih I don’t like… Grr at fanservice… It costs $46.16 here… I don’t know if I should buy it though… I want to, but spending $46 on something like a lot of fanservice… I don’t think so… Although I’m probably gonna buy it sometime soon. What’s the chance of it appearing in a second hand book shop?
Hehe, I’ve been working recently… I don’t like my job that much… Standing around scanning items and asking whether they’re paying credit or if they want a bag for their items… Well, at least it earns me money eh? Money which I’m scared to spend… Grr… Thomas and Daniel have pretty much been drained of all their money since their trip to Hong Kong, so probably not going to do much during the upcoming holidays… (Yay! No school soon!) Hopefully I’ll be doing something interesting during the holidays, but right now, since everyone has no money, that doesn’t seem likley… So I guess I’ll be staying at home, spending my time watching anime and working, and not going out having a social life… Heh, sounds like fun eh? Oh and just an added note, I found out sometime today, that someone doesn’t like the sunlight because it causes cancer… True, but… you know…
Well, on my last blog post, I wrote that I would re-open The Corny Paper Boards on Sunday. And I did! ZOMG! It’s amazing! Something done on-time! Can’t say the same for the train i caught today though… Anyway, this is just a quick little blog post before the end of the world! As many of you may know, the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) or the Atom Smasher as some of you know, will be starting soon. Although the chances of it destroying all of us is almost impossible. Anyway, I leave you with the LHC rap from YouTube!
Well, as a lot of Australians know, Sydney’s public transport is terrible, and no where near as good as most developed country’s public transport. In fact, some Hong Kong surveyors or something rated City-Rail as one of the worst in the world. Commuters who use City-Rail complain about over-crowding, low reliability, lack of air conditioning and trains that are rarely on-time. Although, is City-Rail worse than the rail network that serves Argentina’s capital city, Buenos Aires’s? Some commuters who use the Argentinian rail network have become so fed up with the system, that they were setting some of their trains on fire. If Argentinian’s are having riots about their rail system, surely our system is much better than theirs right?
Hmmm… I really haven’t done much with my website lately, and that “revamp” isn’t exactly moving very quickly… Probably going to take longer than a train ride with City-Rail… Although, I think I may start to do something today, and that something is to be re-open The Corny Paper Boards. Ever since Nick had a stupid password, and that G guy discovered it and passed it on to everyone to go to my forums and stuff… The Corny Paper Boards had been disabled, and I may actually re-open them today, of course, depending on how lazy I become throughout today.
Thomas is in Thailand today. He arrived there a few days ago actually. I don’t quite remember where he’s staying, but I’m jealous because he flew on Thai Airways International to get there… Plus it was his first international visit! Gah! Thai Airways being a 4 star airline and I’ve only ever been on 3 stars even though I’ve been overseas at least 4 times in my life… I’m sure the weather over there was better than yesterdays weather over there. After talking to him yesterday, he told me that he was very sunburnt so I can only assume that it was sunny over there… Apparently he hasn’t bought much yet either, although I hope he does/did by something by now! *cough* souvenirs for us *cough*
Welcome to my new location! Although it was setup yesterday, I officially open it today and this will now be the permanent location and I am unlikely to move again. There are several reasons why I moved locations, but the main reason was because it felt rather cluttered on The Corny Paper, so it now gets it’s own location =D. Unfortunately, I can’t really be bothered trying to move the comments… Anyway, happy reading! š
Note that this was a post from my blog at an older location: Posted August 4 2008
With a lot of posts recently about Qantas, I thought I’d get back to posting a bit more about my daily happenings. Today is August the 4th, which means that it’s Geoffery’s Birthday today. (I’m not quite sure how is name is actually spelt because if memory serves me right, he has a weird spelling) Heh, well, Happy Birthday to him eh? (Probably the only time his name will be mentioned in this blog). Anyway, So I plan to re-cap over events that have happened in my daily life for the past week. I’ve been rather bored these days, (hence the creation and posts of my blog) and have gotten rather lazy when it comes to school work, and other planned projects such as that whole major site revamp thing.
Remember a while ago, how I was procrastinating to do that English Essay for “Touching The Void“? Well, I finally got my mark for that Essay and I got 12 out of 15. Not bad, although I heard that the highest mark in the “smart class” was like 13 or something but that’s probably because they got a harsh marker… I rarely, if ever, get above 75% for an assessment task, especially in English! What’s even more surprising (to me) is that I got 82% (if memory serves right) for a test in Science! I too, rarely, get anything higher than 80% in Science as well! Even more shocked when I recently was told that at the moment, I’ve got the highest mark in the class for another Science test! (Which I highly doubt and if it is true, then my class must be really bad at science!)
Damn those people who have no lives! Not going to mention any names here for now, but I know that some people in my school are obsessed with trying to “hack” into things, and so with these “hackers”, they’ve managed to get into Nickolas’s account on my forums. Got his password is stupid… So, partially him to blame but I’m not going to go into that that much… Heh, I’m quite surprised to find that I only have 286 paper cranes in total right now. I’m out of paper. I need to find some paper, cut them into squares, and make more paper cranes. It’s what I do when I’m bored now, fold paper cranes that is… Anyway, that’s all from me for now. Hopefully I’ll have something interesting to add tomorrow!

Heheheā¦ Well, as you may have known after reading what I posted yesterday that I had a science test thingy todayā¦ Well, I donāt think I did too well in it and Daniel said he probably didnāt do too well in it either but stillā¦ That science test seemed to ask us questions about things that we havenāt learned about yet(?). Or it was just our stupidity that was making us think thatā¦ What a waste of $3.70 for a Flat White when it didnāt do me any goodā¦ But at least it tasted alrightā¦ Well, the results of that should be interesting, along with us getting our half-yearly reports on Fridayā¦
I find it very strange that I had not found this nifty tool in Photoshop earlierā¦ Previously, I have had much frustration and trouble when it comes to text and co-ordinating them to match the image (stand out or fade in the background etc.). Then I came across this tutorial telling me about stroke and inner glow and all that stuff, and so I found out that I am a total amateur at Photoshop! To get better text effects, all I had to do (instead of changing the background and font colours and types etc. just to get text to stand out) was right click on the text layer, and select blending options! Okay, now to me, this just showed me how terrible I am at Photoshop and how little I know about itā¦ Think about how many more āobviousā features of Photoshop/Flash/anything else I could be forgetting/donāt know about/donāt know how to use etcā¦
Well, tomorrowās Thursday and I have a few boring subjects at school tomorrowā¦ Fun funā¦ Probably wonāt post anything tomorrow depending on how lazy I amā¦ Iām very lazy when it comes to my website as I havenāt really added anything new for a whileā¦ Should make a new comicā¦ and add new ānewsāā¦ and finish up my new design of the Worst Airlines thingyā¦ and create usergroups thingies for The Corny Paper Boards, and upload the newest episode of The Random Showā¦ and do that English assessment task thing tooā¦ Thereās probably a whole lot of other things I should be doing but oh wellā¦ Canāt be bothered to list them I guessā¦

Well, it took some time and I feel rather stupid after I had a lot of trouble trying to install this into Freehostia and Thomas told me that there was an easy install thing provided by Freehostia or somethingā¦ Well, at least I now have this (hopefully) fully installed for my website! Now people who can be bothered to read this will find out how (much more in some cases) stupid I am/can be!
Yes I like confusing people and a lot of the times, I confuse them unintentionallyā¦ But anyway, I have a Science test tomorrow, a chemistry topicā¦ Acids and Basesā¦ Well it should be fun. I should study for it and I think I will once I have finished writing thisā¦ Our schoolās athletics carnival was supposed to be tomorrow, but thanks to the weather, our carnival was canceled and so I have to do ten pin bowling again just like I have done for the lastā¦ 10(?) weeksā¦ Should be funā¦
Well, since I do Food Tech as a subject for school, (if you didnāt know alreadyā¦) we had a prac today and we were to make a āpineapple up-side down cakeā thingyā¦ So, working with my friend Nick (not the Squiggley Inc. oneā¦), and another friend of mine known as Alex, made a veryā¦ ummā¦ wellā¦ cake thing. It was better than doing theory for Food Tech. as Food Tech. theory is terribly boringā¦ Well, most of my friends liked the cakeā¦ I thinkā¦ but anyway, should study for science thingy!
