Ooh yay. Working during the festive season. Well, at least I get money eh?

*sigh* Oh, I am so very tired. Working during the always busy festive season is a pain. I had been set for morning shifts for yesterday and today. The afternoons are a lot quieter. All the registers are open, and there are still multiple people waiting in line at each register! Every so often you get this angry/stressed out customer who gets rather fussy and impatient, although you do get those who are rather sympathetic and are rather kind to you which is always nice. It’s also interesting at how everyone pays with their credit card, and sometimes, you’ll get an error saying something a long the lines of “not enough credit”. People always buy lots of drinks, primarily Coke, and you deal with a lot of hams, turkeys and bread. Overall, you are rather tired by the whole experience whether you serve the customer or if you are the customer. Either way, you’re glad when it’s all over.

It’s funny, last Friday, I basically had no definite plans for the holidays, and overall, I found myself to be free the whole Christmas and New Year weeks. We did have plans to go to the city one of those days, and I have that “reunion” on Monday although at the time, it seemed more like a plan than definite. On Saturday, all that changed… After working on that day, I saw that I had been rostered to work Tue, Wed, Sat and Sun for this week. When I got home from work, I found out that because of my shifts, we were going to the City on Monday. We also had dinner at a friends place on Tuesday, we are going to visit some relatives tomorrow, going to some place on Friday, going to that “reunion” thing on Monday, working again Tue, Wed, Sat and Sun, and chances are, we are going out on Thursday and Friday visiting friends but that is not certain yet. Woot. Been busy, and I am not used to it!

*yawn* I need some sleep. I would ramble on a bit more, but I’m too tired to do any of that. Plus, I’ve also done my little and terrible review of that $46.17 Higurashi Illustration Book thing… Well, I probably won’t be around to write anything tomorrow, so I wish all my blog readers (I would believe just there is at least one) just like I said to every customer that I had served today, to have a Merry Christmas and enjoy all your food and money and presents and family and relatives and friends etc! Good Night everyone!

MY NAME IS SPELT “ROGER”!!!

Haha! First day of November! Only two months of the year to go, meaning we are 5/6ths the way through this year! According to Wikipedia, it is National Day in Algeria, Independence Day in Antigua and Barbuda, All Saints’ Day in Catholicism and it is World Vegan Day! Also, on this day in 1755, an earthquake measured at an estimated 9 on the Richter scale, and subsequent tsunamis almost wiped out the Portuguese Capital city of Lisbon! Heh, to me nothing else that interesting happened in History today… Speaking of earthquakes, my science teacher is weird… (not the good weird unfortunately… well, to me anyway…)

Well, glad I had my maths test over yesterday. I hope I did well. I don’t think coffee helps… Despite the fact I got marks around 90% the last two tests I’ve had coffee, It may have just been because I was able to do the questions… When I started yesterday’s test, well pretty much all of my tests, I felt rather unconfident… The caffeine in the coffee may have been “a little too much for me”? My hand kept on jitterring for the first hour of the test. It got really annoying, and it was hard to write “neat” with my already fairly messy writing. (It’s not that messy compared to other people’s) Well, when we get our results probably around 9 days time, possibly earlier, I shall see if I had beat that egotistic Will with his high confidence that he’ll beat me again… Now all I have is History and Graphics Tech! =D

You may be wondering about this post’s title… Perhaps you’re not. I don’t care… But anyway, today I had to go to a training session because I was accepted by a company to work for them. Boring time listening to OHS stuff… But anyway, when it came round to presenting the name badge stuff, they spelt my name “Rodger”. GAH! That’s not even the “common” spelling of “Roger”! Surprisingly, it happens to me quite a few times actually. I had it when I was given my name tag in kindergarten, when I want to a drawing school, when I won an award at one of my old schools, the hand written certificate thingy had my name spelt with a “d”… Grr… Don’t they know Roger Ramjet and all those cartoony things?!

Also added a how I rate stuff in the “About my Blog” section…
