After spending time in Tokyo and other parts of Japan last year, we moved northwards into Japan’s northernmost prefecture, Hokkaido, where we joined in some of the many winter festivities occurring at the time.

It’s about an hour before the new year of 2013 begins here in Sydney… So I guess it’s time to write up the last post and photo diary of the year, as well as catch-up on the fact I didn’t post a November Photo Diary. 
Rather late to be posted but on, July the 27th, I, along with my sister and two of her friends crossed off another Sydney foodies “bucket-list” item. Sake Restaurant and Bar is located at The Rocks in Sydney and is a One-Hatted Restaurant in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2013, and has been for a good while. This is a quick post about our small experience (Mainly images of some of what we ordered, as well as some minor comments) at this trendy restaurant. 
Another crazy month. Being mid-year university break, much of the entire month is spent slaving at my part-time job, or going to meet-ups to meet friends old and new, some by coincidence, most by near last minute organisation. Most of them involved food/coffee so this Photo Diary contains quite a few pieces of food and drink. |
