Haven’t been able to blog all that much, being very busy with school work, namely an English essay, and a lot of maths being dumped on me by my most favourite maths teacher. =D
I have a few posts in the line, but when they’ll be published is well… When I’m able to get around to them…
Yay! My local Japanese book store had Mizuki Nana’s biography “Shin Ai” in stock. 20% off too, so it only cost me $28. It’s a shame that I’m Japanese illiterate. Otherwise, I’d probably be up all night reading it… But I am watching coverage of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan ealier today… That’s some scary stuff.
At this moment, 5 hours after the quake, the toll is only 39. That number can only rise.
Hope everything works out for all those effected directly and indirectly.
Tried out a new Sushi Train in the City today, and a last week. A place called “Sushi Hotaru” in The Galleries Victoria, where “Japan City” used to be. It’s a looooong train.
The place is pretty good. They have some interesting ships. The one on the left is “Takowasabi”, which I believe is raw octopus infused with wasabi. Very interesting! To the right us a tried and true seared scallop nigiri. All plates are $3 (except for Sashimi of course) but they had an opening special where all plates were $2.50, which meant that when I went for the first time, it took 45 minutes to get a seat…
For cheap and decent sushi from a sushi train, this place definitely gets a thumbs up. My only real concern is that the rice they serve always seems to be warm…
Wasn’t planning on watching any anime from this season, but thanks to the amount of coverage it’s recieved, I just had to find out what all the fuss was about. Still yet to watch ep10, but it’s been amazing so far.
My friend Leon’s Asuza figure by Movic arrived. And I hate to admit it, but it’s a very nice, simple figure. Cute too. Click the image for his photoshoot.
Speaking of photoshoots, my Fate -PHANTOM MINDS- figure by ALTER photoshoot should be published within the coming days. =D
