Well, first up, Happy Birthday Mugi-chan~!
Now,
The past month of June has been rather mean to me, which is why I’ve been rather inactive on blogging; despite it being my third year of blogging…
I have been sick for almost two weeks, which meant that having all my term three exams hit me when I returned back to school resulted in a lot of stress and late nights for me, which doesn’t help a recovery…
Maybe it was a just a small version of Oyashiro-sama’s curse, considering it was Watanagashi, but I don’t want to talk about the negatives… Here are just some of my postitives. =D
So to start off, I’ve finally gotten a new phone! (A Windows Phone of course. XD)
I’ve had my HTC Mozart for about a month now. My fellow Windows Phone fanboy Leon, also got himself a device, his, a Samsung Omnia 7.
My thoughts and impressions about the device will be posted a little later.
In-between my exams and assessments, our school’s annual talent quest was held. Very entertaining and I was thoroughly awed at some of the acts, some more for their extremities. XD
(Photo above is of a line outside Sydney’s Central Station where there was a fundraising event of all-you-can-carry ice cream for only one dollar)
Last night I was able to head into the City after school, as Leon had invited me to join him to an open meet-up of Japanese and Japanese speakers. It was the first time either of us had been to a meet-up of such sorts and so we were nervous at first, but as we met and talked with others, the whole experience was rather fun, and it was very interesting to hear from students and businessmen who have been to Japan, and those from Japan studying or doing business here in Australia. If only I studied/knew some Japanese to have a conversation in Japanese with other Japanese people…
Anyway, I’m heading out to one of my friend’s 18th now. They’re having a street party, (the first I’ve been to) which should be interesting… Not going to drink though. (Or try to not at least. I’m pretty sure I have a low tolerance for alcohol anyway…)
Oh yeah, and another Happy Birthday for my good friend Bevan! (Who is lucky enough to share the same birthday as Mugi… =P)
