A quick visit to the Pudong New Financial Area, known as Lujiazui.
We also took a quick visit to Nanjing Road, as well as The Bund.
Thought I’d play around with my DSLR… Took some random photos…
One of the many Fruit Markets that you find randomly along the street… Just as common as Easy Ways are now in Sydney…
METRO is a huge shopping warehouse-like franchise, similar to Wal-Mart and Costco etc.
Then it was some lunch timies… With… Some slimies…
These were some raw prawns… Which… are weird… (I’ve had them before… They aren’t that great… Not like other Sashimi…) These were way too Garlic-y
Hmmm… The two tallest skyscapers in Shanghai. The Jin Mao, and Shanghai World Financial Centre (SWFC)
A nice Garden Roundabout promoting the Expo.
Shanghai’s building two IFC buildings… No whree near as tall or as fancy as Hong Kong…
I love the Jin Mao’s facade…
Before going up the SWFC, they give you a little pre-show… not very intersting…
This is the “Skywalk”. Before the Burj opened in Dubai, it was the world’s highest observation deck.
Shanghai’s weather at this time of the year is far from ideal… You could barely see past the Huangpu River… (Which couldn’t be more than 3km from where I was standing)
Then it was a just a quick trip to a Starbucks at the bottom… Where I picked up a Green Tea Seasame Frappacinno. (or however it’s spelt)
Doesn’t sound dodgy at all… If you wanna buy some… ‘Underground’ stuff… Nanjing Road is the place.
These dolls are scary… There’s this dancing sunflower that my uncle has that is just as scary (if memory serves…) It’s still here… I might video it later…
Then, a trip to The Bund, where they newly built an elevated walkway, along the riverside. Lots of people.
My dad was telling me that this was a famous bridge and building… A couple who were taking a photo after the wedding here.
To finish the night off, a quick walk down Nanjing Road at night… We’ll have to go shopping here later…
KFC in Australia is better than in China… There’s little/no salt!!!
SICK TURTLE. SICK SKYSCRAPERS. SICK…chicken…? Hopefully not…
