Ahahaha! *sniffles* Ah… The days of Pokemon…

*sheds a tear* *sniffles some more* Awww… I remember all those days where I’d get up so early in the morning just to watch those cartoons that were on Cheese TV. Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragonball Z, etc. etc. *sigh* It’s amazing what can be remembered or what is created when you’re bored isn’t it? Now, the full story of how these thoughts arose is rather uninteresting, but it’s part of my story, and what I had kind of planned to write about for todays blog post.

So, today was my fun little English Assessment Task date. Tehehe, I probably will get at max 13 out of 20 because I had already lost at least 5 marks from not answering some questions. So, before my assessment, I was trying to calm myself down a bit, hoping a relaxed mind would be better for the assessment. So, I try to relax. I think of little pieces of songs that I find calming… So I was thinking about the Off Vocal version of a Higurashi song (With You -Bonds-) but then suddenly, out of know where, these lyrics come into my head:

“Hours and hours…
In the lush grass,
At the base of Mt. Moon,
May the song… Soothe you!”

Any guesses where that’s from? Pokemon! I was like “OMG!” “WTF!” “WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM!????!?!?!” It was stuck in my head for freakin’ ages! But it brought back so many wonderful memories… Those lyrics, after doing a bit of research and trying to find my illegal copy of the song, are from “Song Of Jigglypuff” from the album “Totally Pokemon”. *sigh* Those wonderful glorious days of Pokemon. So while in maths, I was talking to my good friend Ben, who has the mind of a child, but a brain of a person with lots of intelligence, and we began to reminisce the histrory of Pokemon Theme songs… Couldn’t remember the Hoenn generation of Pokemon that well, and anywhere beyond that is entirely unknown to me. Isn’t it great? Remembering your childhood, and the days of which you didn’t have to worry about a thing and when you were a lot better at singing?

Before I continue to listen to music from back in 2000 (Yes, Pokemon Music) I now leave you of a drawing that one of my friends drew… Three guesses to who it is, and who drew it!
