To be honest, I don’t really know. I think it’ll be disappointing in some aspects, and really fun in others. So, main-friends-wise, I’m going with Thomas, Nick (Not Food Tech or Squiggley) and Hugh. So, let’s go with what I’m almost certain of first. I’m going to be spending quite a bit of money there. Oh yes, quite a bit. I’m forcasting a minimum of $100, and projecting an actual somewhere round $170 and would not be surprised if it was more. So that’ll be a major drain to my goal of $3000 by 2010. If I somehow, run into a Creative ZEN X-Fi 16/32GB that’s cheaper than Creative’s selling them for, I may actually buy it. Same goes for a Cowon S9 or D2. Highly unlikely but anyway. I’m likely going to be binging on quite a bit of junk, namely chocolate. I’m not a real fan of chocolate, and no where do I eat it as much as my friends do, however I think it’s going to be a relatively large part of my eatings there. Plane is likely to be delayed, both to and from. I’m going to lose something. Don’t know what, but I’m definitely going to lose something…
So, that’s a rap up of what will almost definitely happen. What are we doing? Well, the highlights for me seem to be Chocolate and Cheese at the moment. I like wildlife centres so they should be fun. Other than that umm… Nothing else really stands out. Damn it’s gonna be expensive. I also wonder will it really be that fun? I certainly hope so… We’re paying over $1000 for this! Yes, I’m taking my Creative ZEN, Vision:M and Stone with me. Mainly for the bus rides/flight. I’ve asked Thomas to bring his USB Wall Charger. Damn Universal Adaptor that I bought had to break! I’ve sent it in to Creative for warranty use and it seems to have gotten lost. I sent it way over a month ago and I’m still trying to deal with the problem… Grr…
Anyway, that’s all I can think of at the moment, kinda rushing things because I need to sleep soon… I may write stuff tomorrow morning or something. Who knows… Unlikely but anyway. I’ll be sure to give a detailed journal of how Tasmania was and definitely whether or not it was worth it… Meanwhile, since I won’t be here this weekend, here’s my tips for NRL and AFL.
NRL
Roosters vs Eels
Broncos vs Dragons
Storm vs Titans
Panthers vs Tigers
Warriors vs Rabbitohs
Bulldogs vs Sharks
Knights vs Sea Eagles
Raiders vs Cowboys
AFL
Adelaide vs St Kilda
Geelong vs Richmond
Collingwood vs Melbourne
Carlton vs Brisbane
Sydney vs Hawthorn
Essendon vs Fremantle
Bulldogs vs Kangaroos
West Coast vs Port Adelaide
Since Panthers won, Looks like Hursh and I are even now… Great… Can’t do Golden Slipper because I don’t know the horses racing in it =(. Oh well. Probably wouldn’t have picked a winner anyway. I’ll just try, a horse owned by Gai Waterhouse. How’s that? =P
