As always, late on the bandwagon, but, I am now one of the hundred or so people who probably have a Zune in Australia!
Goodbye 6 month old Archos 5… Hello Zune…
So… I do feel like a bit of a hypocrite now… After everything I’ve said about mp3 players, and iPods…
The reasons why I had always stayed away from iPods were always like:
“Oh, I hate proprietary connections!”
“‘Sif you need to convert all your video to one file format!”
“Come on! At least make it customisable!”
“Dude, drag and drop ftw! None of that stupid iTunes crap”
etc.
And now look at me… I have a Zune…
Stuck to the one USB cable.
Stuck to using the Zune Desktop software as my only means of transferring media
Stuck to the simple formats of .mp3, .wma, .wmv, and selected .avi and .mpeg4
Unable to customise my stuff…
And you know why I was willing to take back everything I said about proprietary hardware and software?
The ever so pretty User Interface, and for the brushed metal…
Damn it Windows Mobile 7!!!!
brushed metal…HOT DAYUM!
HAH! “Hello from seattle” Never seen that before…
